RAW FOOD CLASSES - GOURMET RAW FOOD FOR BEGINNERS
"Raw refers to foods including fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouted grains, all of which are not altered through heating, cooking or processing. Raw foods can be eaten whole by themselves, juiced, or combined to produce gourmet meals akin to their cooked counterparts. Raw foods are also living foods. When you soak an almond, it begins to sprout and if you put that almond into the ground, it will begin to grow. This life force is know as enzymes and the premise is that cooking food over 40 degrees Celsius destroys the enzymes, cooking the life out of the food. As such, a roasted salted almond, when soaked or put into the ground, will do nothing, Every human being has a natural reserve of enzymes, which eventually is used up by years of eating cooked foods that do not contain living enzymes to replenish our body's lost reserves." In the class you will be making four dishes from seasonl ingredients along with a sensational raw Cheezecake - you'll be amazed what it is made of! The cost is $65.00 per person and includes generous tastings, detailed notes with lots of recipes, and plenty of confidence to get started with raw foods! The class is designed to help people understand the importance that raw food plays in our daily lives...and to see how wonderful it is to eat!

THERMOMIX COOKING CLASSES - DESIGNED FOR THOSE LUCKY ENOUGH TO OWN A THERMOMIX!
Loose Produce and Elisabeth Higgins, a Thermomix consultant, have come together to create a forum for Thermomix owners. Each class will take advantage of the season and demonstrate some fresh dishes not seen in the standard Thermomix demonstration. These classes also give Thermomix owners a chance to meet and discuss ideas. Each class costs $10 per person and must be paid in full to secure your booking.
