INTRODUCTION TO MEXICAN COOKING
Ever wondered what real Mexican food is all about?  It's colourful, varied, exciting and, as ad added bonus, is GLUTEN FREE.
Learn how to make:-  Tortillas - using white, yellow and blue corn flours
Salsas - many and varied, salsas are the essence of Mexican cooking.
Learn how to serve your newly made tortillas and salsas in:-  Sopa de Tortilla - Mexicans make fantastic soups - this is one of many

Lunches with Flair
Are you stuck for healthy lunch options?  Your mornings too rushed to get anything together? Wasting precious dollars on unhealthy snack food to get you through your day?
Lunches with Flair is the ultimate class on preparing a healthy lunch for work, school or play. Focusing on plant based foods, you’ll learn how to whip up delicious, fresh appetizers   in the spare few minutes of your morning, or even at work. 
Over three hours, you will learn the principles of making healthy food super fast; receive an extensive workbook with the information, recipes and inspiration to get you started; and delightful ways to carry your lunch, inspiring you to eat - and not swap!
Plus you’ll get hands on making treats such as Stuffed Capsicum, Marinated Mushrooms, Vibrant Salads, Easy Nori and Crackers & Pate. 
Servings are generous, so save room for lunch and don’t forget a take away container. 
Passionate Gourmet’s food is natural by nature, organic where possible and free from heat, cruelty and gluten*.  Tree nuts and seeds are used extensively, but we’re free from peanuts. Please advise beforehand of any allergies or intolerances.

MORE MEXICAN COOKING
In this class we'll continue our journey through the colourful, varied and exciting world of Mexican cooking.  You will learn the secrets of two of Mexico's most famous dishes:-  Mole Poblano (Puebla style turkey mole) - this rich, enticing blend of ingredients (including chocolate) soon becomes an addiction.  Chiles En Nogada - Mexico's famous stuffed chillies with walnut sauce, a real taste experience.  ...and get the inside tips on what to serve with these "fiesta" dishes - green beans, salsas, tortillas...

It’s easy to get healthy in spring, with all the vibrant bright fruit and luscious leafy greens.  So what do you do when the weather gets cooler, when the lightness of salads makes way to cravings for carbs? 
Hearty food can be healthy, as you’ll discover in this class!  With plant-based foods, you’ll learn how to prepare filling meals while retaining the nutritional benefits of whole, raw produce. Creating hearty and healthy foods is an art, using spices, dehydration and creative techniques leaving you with a mouth-watering meal that’s warm and nourishing.Come and learn the basics of making hearty food healthy, creative techniques to retain the nutrition of whole, raw produce and take home an extensive workbook with the information, recipes and inspiration to get you started. Plus you’ll get hands-on making meals such as Pot Pie, Portabello Cutlets, Spaghetti with Not Meat Balls, Apple Cobbler and Persimmon Pie.

BALINESE BANQUET 
Selamat Datang!  Welcome to the hot, spicy and magical world of Balinese cooking.  In this class you will learn how to prepare the celebrated spice paste which is the basis of almost all Balinese dishes.  We will then combine the spice paste with fresh ingredients to product a delicious banquet.  Wond Dadah - a wonderfully hot and spicy soup made from spice paste, mushrooms and coconut cream and topped with crisp fried shallots.  Long Beans with spiced soy dressing - beans as you have never had them before - spicy & succulent.  Sate lilit - seafood sate - Indonesia's signature dish made the Balinese way.  Kambing Mekua - lamb gently braised in spices, lemongrass and coconut cream.  (click here)

Cold Pressed Soap Making Demonstration
Come and have some fun learning how to make your own soap.    When you learn how easy it is you will never use commercial soap again. In this demonstration you will learn how to make soap with vegetable oils.  You will get to take home some soap that has been made and you can cut it up yourself next day. Put away for three weeks and you will have lovely soap.   All you need to bring is a clean, 1 litre cardboard milk container and a towel to wrap the soap up to take home.    The demonstrator is Dianne Caine founder of Naturally Yours.  (click here)
